Ingredients
  

Salmon Fillets

  • 1 piece 5-ounce wild salmon fillet

Asparagus

  • 4 stalks asparagus

Lemon-Herb Butter

  • 1/8 cup butter room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp chipotle powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine room-temperature butter, lemon juice, salt, chipotle powder, chopped parsley, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Place salmon fillet on a piece of aluminum foil. Spread the lemon-herb butter mixture evenly over the fillet.
  • Arrange asparagus around the salmon fillet on the foil.
  • Fold the foil over the salmon and asparagus to create a sealed packet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.
  • Carefully open the foil packets and serve immediately.
